SDL Denholm Scoops Azerbaijan Award

SDL Denholm were delighted to be awarded the 2006 Company of the Year Award in the category of Engineering Services, Azerbaijan.

The award, presented by Consulting and Business Magazine, recognises companies and individuals, whose efforts are directed towards strengthening the successful development of Azerbaijan and promoting the nation's integration in the world economy.

Andy Townsley, Operations Manager and Elnur Garadaghi, QA/QC Manager, accepted the award on behalf of the company at a ceremony held at the Gulistan Palace in November 2006.

Peter Waddel, SDL Denholm Managing Director, said: "This is a tremendous achievement for SDL Denholm and everyone within the company should be congratulated on their hard work and commitment. The achievement of this award is a reflection of the very high safety and quality standards achieved by the company throughout the year, which has in turn led to a request by our main client, BP Petroleum, to extend our current fabrication contract for a further three years to 2011."

SDL Denholm will endeavour to improve on these current standards in 2007.
